This is the vocal-instrumental debut from two musicians, each with diverse
influences, come together to create an original sound which transcends
musical boundaries. Their level of communication is impressive and is
strechted out in a lyrical direction. In his 6 compositions, Mark Joggerst
demonstrates a constant flow of ideas that are imaginative, spirited and
always appealing. Eda Zari is a sweet-voised singer with a vampy style
that`s rich and warm in the lower register of her three octave range.
She delivers strongly on standards such as "Body&Soul" and "The man I
love"so effectuel new arranged by Joggerst. At the same time she is too
saccharin-sweet on "You don't know what love is". New colours and visions
are conjured up on "Come rain or shine", where Martin Gjakonovski, with
his world-class bass playing and world-influenced music, plays out his
dream of bass "that travelled from Balkan to orient" and comes back again
to his style and qualitys.
